Joeys & Koalas
We understand that going back to work and leaving your baby in care can be an incredibly difficult time. We feel privileged to share this special journey with our families and their new babies.
Nursery (0 - 2 Years)
- 2 Rooms
- 24 Children
- 6 Educators
At Echidna we have 2 Nursery Rooms with 12 children and 3 educators in each. Your routine is our routine, communication is the key to enable us to provide your baby with everything they need for a happy healthy day. We understand it can be difficult to leave your baby in care, however at Echidna, cuddles and emotional support (for mum as well) are very much a part of our day.
Early Learning Program
We provide an understanding, communicative and individual relationship for all families. In addition to our caring and nurturing environment, each Echidna child has a focus teacher to assist them in engaging in developmental areas and to assess and monitor all age appropriate milestones. Our qualified Educators provide a stimulating, engaging and developmentally appropriate program for all children.
The Joeys and Koala's children have a separate playground with age appropriate activities such as a sandpit, trampolines, sensory panels, toys and trucks, supporting their gross motor skills.
What To Bring Each Day
- A broad rimmed hat for outside play.
- Changes of clothes in case we get messy or have water play.
- Water bottle to keep me hydrated.
Orientation / Playdate
Once your child receives a placement at Echidna Early Learning Centre, we will be in touch with you to arrange for your family to have an orientation, and for your child to have a play date to ensure that you are completely familiar with the environment prior to commencing.
